Hong Kong Holiday (10 – 17 March 2015) – 14 March 2015

We had another slow day.

We walked around shopping in Argyle Center in Mongkok.

We shopped and went back to rest in our rooms by the afternoon as the walking was quite taxing for his parents.

I love staying in Mongkok as there are alot of eateries around the area. You will never be hungry there, no matter what time you feel the hunger.

We had our lunch there with Hub’s friend, then we walked around to explore the area further, then we took a ride from his friend to MTR station and we head to the peak.

The queue for the tram wasn’t too long so we were up to the peak soon enough.

I was hungry for a snack, so I ate the Crispy Noodle which is something I like.

We woke up and left our rooms around 11am. Today is a very care-free day without much plans, we just went with the flow of things.

We chose a cha chaan teng around the Mongkok area for our brunch.

On the second day, I woke hubs early for breakfast.

MacDonald breakfast, their sausage is made with pork which is different from chicken in Singapore.

Then we went back to the hostel to wake my in laws to head out for lunch.

 We had dim sum lunch.

Then we took the public transport to Lantau island.

After some walking around, I sat down for some instant noodles while my in laws went for their temple visitation.

This is an eating holiday for me.

Then we caught the cable car back and had dinner around the place we stayed and went to Hui Lau Shan for desserts.

Hong Kong holiday (10 – 17 March 2015) – 10 March 2015

We planned for this trip since Dec, so it was a good break from work. 🙂

My flight was at 0155, so I went to the airport straight after work on 09 March. We chose to fly scoot for this trip.

We arrived around 6am on 10 March. We then bought our Sim cards to use for this trip. Then we took the public transport to Mongkok where we will be staying for this trip.

We left our luggage with the person in the counter of the hostel we are staying in, then we headed to get our brunch.

My first meal of Soy Sauce Fried Noodles.

Then we went back to the hotel hoping to be able to check into our rooms and relax before shopping around.

We finally did get our rooms, we tested till dinner time and we headed out nearby for dinner and did some walking around.

My second meal of Fried Rice Noodles with Beef.

After food we walked around the Ladies’s market before going back home. Hubs and my sister in law continued walking around the area till around 12am before coming back to the rooms.

Ah Boys to Men – Part 3 (01 March 2015)

I went to watch Ah Boys to Men (Part 3) alone as Hubs is not free to accompany to watch the movie with me.

I chose to watch it alone as the Boys are going to pop by in the cinema after the show. =)

I enjoyed the movie as I do with all Jack Neo’s movies without fail, but this movie was rather long, and there was a crying baby in the cinema.

Visit on 30 July 2015:

I went down after work to meet Hubs for dinner. He ends work at 6pm, and so I reached at 6pm.

We decided to eat at Itacho again as he was craving for Japanese food. I got a table for us, and started ordering my food.

Ikura Chawanmushi

Fried Squid with Salt and Pepper

Side Salad

Chirashi

Chilled Squid

Salmon Sushi Speciality

Scallop Sushi

Milk Pudding

Fried Chicken Bites

Grilled Squid

The food is always satisfying at Itacho.

The only negative experience I have is just that Hubs was late for around 1 hour. So by the time he arrives, I have finished my food I ordered already.
